See heres the story.... I bought the car at a salvage auction. It has the s14 sr20det, apexi N1 duals cat back, greddy profec b spec 2, apexi turbo timer and apexi BOV, and some 18" rims(1 is cracked) and 4 good nitto 555r tires. The car cost like $850 so i figured it was a good deal even if the motor didnt run. So i have yet to swap the motor bc i dont wanna go through all the work if its not gonna run so i just asked if the motor could run if i replace the whole CAS. Pics will come tomoro. Do yall think i got a good deal??? I think i did.

850 for all that? yea thats a pretty darn good deal. if you wanted you could part the car out and maybe even make about a hundred bucks....

i thought about that too, but the car is pretty f###ed up. It is bent up at the driverside A piller and and the bottom under the middle of the door, both quarters are bent and the roof is all bent. the dash is messed up too but its got a good black leather interior that im prolly gonna get so a gray S14 interior should be for sale soon.

Your also missing the coolant elbow that goes into the block, unless you took it off for pics, it wont run with that missing either. That could be hard to find I'd call phase2 and a few other companies that sell the swaps to see if they have anything laying around. It should run once you replaced the CAS, in theory. But all in all for $850 thats a real good deal even if the motor isnt in running condition. Does the swap look like it was done right? No exposed wires or anything?

I believe the swap was done correctly. I knew the girl that had this car and wrecked it and it seemed to run good and everything and yeah the coolant elbow is busted, but i was sure that the elbow could be replace and the motor would still run, i just didnt know if the CAS being busted off would make the motor not run NE more bc this is the first DIS motor ive had. Ill prolly call phase2 or another company like u said for the coolant elbow, what other companies do you recomendme to call to find the coolant elbow? Well thanks all. Your help has been GREATLY appreciated.

I'd check any of our advitisers that sell motor sets. Enjuku, phase 2, heavy throttle, 240SX motoring, etc.
