CAS sensor

Still having issues with my CA, won't turn over. Has spark, has fuel, and all timing marks are on point, but motor will not turn on.... I'm now 1200miles from my car and tring to tell the guy what to look for. I am guessing it was a CAS sensor so the mechanic ran with it now he says he tested it and it was sending a bad signal. What are the accual syptoms of a bad cas, and is my diagnos correct?

After the rebuild the motor turned over ran for 5min, throttle was applied and then it died, after that it would turn over and propmtly die after a few seconds, and then since then nothing it won't turn over. He said he tested it and it tested bad but the guy could just be running with what i said because he was stumped...
