So i've had my car running pretty damn good for the last few months. Its just a basic Rb25det s2 in a s13 hatch. I did all the wiring and everything works fine. Never had a problem with it till now. I was about 1/2 mile from my house and the car starting bucking like it was a boost leak. when i came to a stop the car stalled, was hard to get it to fire back up but it did. then it died one last time and nothing. I check everything out when i got it home. Fuel pump was working and i had pressure. Had spark, cleaned the MAF. also unplugged it and tried to start it in limp mode but nothing. I went through the entire harness to see if anything had unplugged but sure enough it all looked good. Lastly i pulled out the CAS and with the car on spun the cas, it would click once and the fuel pump would turn on and continue to run as long as you kept spinning it but you couldn;t hear any injectors click like they normally do. once you stopped spinning it and did it again it would be the same thing, click once and run the fuel pump. SO im 99% sure its a bad CAS but i don;t really get why it would just s*** out on me like that. Would like some input from you guys before i go ordering anew one. thanks! need to get this s*** back on the road for some clubloose and d-faction events!

I'm not so sure its the CAS.

You sure the injectors are getting power? Do u get spark when you spin the CAS?

To my knowledge.

If you spin the cas and you get spark and the fuel pump turns on. The I think the cas is working fine. Maybe the Wiring for the Injectors shorted out or the ecu Injectors drivers are burnt

you can have a functional fuel pump and a bad cas...seen it before on cars.
check that you're getting voltage to the injectors like sudgested before, then if you can try swapping a known good cas for yours.

You might also want to check the fuel injector power relay. Just jump the two big wires and if you regain injector power, replace the relay or check the trigger wire for that relay.

found something interesting yesterday/ fixed it. i pulled a known working CAS from my friends series 1 and he let me use it. which now i can assure everyone that a series 1 cas will work on a series 2. i was told they would not. it looked different but worked fine. As soon as i plugged his in... same thing. Injectors wouldn;t click. so i looked around some more.. and sure enough after i jacked up my car i saw some wires hanging out under the front wheel well. I have just previously slammed my car pretty far down and sure enough some wiring rubbed and got messed up. It ended up being my MAF ground wire got cut. as soon as i put it back on and spliced it togheter i spun the cas and it clicked all injectors. Bolted it back up and the engine fired right up! thank god it was a cheap easy fix just had me stumped for a day. so lesson learned, tuck your harness as far up as possible if you are riding loW!!!
