Did a consult the other day on my 1991 Q45 with nissan scantech and I noticed the CAS Reference reading was all over the place compared to the CAS position reading. the CAS position reading was pretty darn close to the rpm readings I was getting from my manual reads when I was checking the base timing and rpm. Whats up with that CAS Reference reading? I hope it doesn't mean the CAS is getting funky on me...

I'm thinking the same thing because the car is running fine now. I don't think it's running rich. Gas mileage is good. I'm new to Scantech, and I'm still trying to get familiar with it. but I'm a believer now...I just wish I had gotten the software years ago instead of throwing parts at problems that don't exist. I've got enough legit work to do on the car as it is. Thanks for the relpy
