CAS Install

How do I install the CAS and get the timimg in teh right ballpark? I looked at a few sites (heavy throttle), but the instructions weren't too clear - things like line up the marks (which marks?).

Any help appreciated.

Below is the appropriate section from the S14 FSM, the process is the same for the S13. Set #1 at TDC using the marks on the crank pully, cam gears and timeing chaing. (timeing chain links are usually hard to see)
