CAS cover for sr20det

Has anyone fabricated the Cam Angle Sensor cover? My sr20det came with a cracked cover and I threw it out. Maybe the Sentra SE-R (sr20de) has one. Can someone offer some suggestions?

The Sentra SE-R does NOT have one.

RWD SR20DET is the only engine in the SR family with distributorless ignition.

Buud, thanks for the info. Any idea, if the running w/o cover will be bad. Also, have you heard of anybody fabricating a cover

it is an optical sensor, i duno if it will even work without the cover..

Well the car runs, I'm still taking it easy though. I put about 30 miles on it so far in the past couple of weeks.

Start calling some shops to see if they have any. phase2, garage works, motorex, cartune, heavy throttle....
