ok im putting up my crossrefrence table on my site and i need to know about some parts i dont know since i am going to be providing nissan parts #'s and dont want to give out incorrect info. firstly i know all the CA18DE parts except the pistons pretty much work, but what about little obscure things on it like the TPS, air regulator, fuel pressure regulator.can the CA18DE's head be modified to fit a JDM intake manifold, and if so how much modification would be needed to use the DYI. is the CA18DE's intake manifold identical to the european market intake mani?do any american cars share a crank angle sensor with the CA? i know earlier model Q45's have the same ignitor chips, but do they also have the same coils? thanks for anyone who can answer any of these questions, it gonna be fun finding all the nissan part #'s for this stuff :pface

The CA18DE and DET both use the same lower intake manifold so the heads are exactly the same, the gaskets are also the same.

The TPS is the same one used on the 91-94 KA and the CA18DE, the O2 sensor is off the CA18ET, the CAS is on the Z32 and the CA18DE, Coilpacks on the CA18DE are the same, and I beleive the ones from teh Q fit as well.

yes it uses DFI, but the fuel rail is different, but the KA24E fuel rail and regulator is about the same (just from looking at them).

i thought the ka24e's fuel rail had much smaller holes to accept the injectors, not that that makes a big difference.

nope, the CA injector is a nice upgrade for any of the turbo KA24E guys, and it drops right in. So when you go to "man injectors" you can get like 100 for the set of stockers if you can find a turbo KA that's still alive.

Just wondering if the valves and guides are also interchangeable from a usdm CA18DE to the jdm CA18DET? Are the valves and guides actually strong enough to take the boost or are they actually different?

I'm currently in the process of rebuilding the head and I just wanna make sure. Thanks
