Hi, I was drving on one of them open up and close bridges, that has the floor made out of bars of mettal, and my V just started going left to right and it couldnt hold the road at all, and I saw other cars just flying through it. My V only has 300 miles. Is is possible that the wheels are too old? or not enough preassure? because the TPMS light isnt on. Any other causes?

Nope, have one of those here also and this is normal with any light and short wheelbased vehicle. Heck I have even driven a motorcycle on that stuff, SCARRY! The empty squares in the grid just don't give you any steady traction, so you slip, slide away.

Yeah, there's a bridge like that off of 290 as you're heading into downtown Chicago - and it feels like it's throwing your car around. Happens in the Vera, happed in my Honda Civic, and I even felt, though not as much, in a mini van with three people. You don't see the other cars moving - but they are.

So don't worry, there's nothing wrong with your Versa.

but the crazy thing is that no other car was sliding like the V. The car was going side to side, on 20 mph. really scarry stuff lol because other cars where just flying next to me and im going on them and off them.

YEP, the bigger and the heavier the vehicle the less you feel it !

Mini van = longer wheelbase and more weight + additional passengers = a breeze on that grid.

Just because you don't "see" the other cars doing it doesn't mean they aren't, they're just doing it to a lesser extent.

Just drive a sane speed and keep your hands on the wheels, with a GOOD braking distance (your braking distance on this deck will be double or triple what it is on a normal road surface!)

We have LOTS of these bridges where I live, and I usually drive on one at least twice a day.

Yep, it's the bridge not the Versa. There's a bridge like that in Connecticut on the Merritt Parkway that crosses the Housatonic River. I had a Buick Regal with much wider tires than the Versa's and experienced the same exact sliding sensation that you described every time I crossed it. The car felt totally out of control. It's a very high bridge and a lady friend jokingly referred to it as "The Bridge Of Slippery Death." And, like you, while I was white knuckling it at 45 m.p.h., holding my breath, others were zooming by at 65. Maybe their philosophy was the faster they got over it the better.
