I just bought a 91 dohc 240sx fastback, with 170k miles.
It has a few problems but most of them I can handle, the main one im concerned with is the strange idle problem.
It always drives perfectly fine, and idles perfectly fine when its just sitting there. But if im moving and I let off the gas and put in neutral, then engine drops down to 0 rpm. This doesnt happen all the time but it has happened quite a bit.
I have been just putting it back in gear and letting off the clutch and then continuing on my way, but I figure its probably best to get this problem remedied since it might be a symptom to a real problem.
Im fairly new to this site and 240sx' in general, so if this is a coomon problem or a noobie question please forgive my noobieness.

hahaha, sorry I forgot to mention that I have done nothing, and I have no idea where anything on 240s, I come from DSM's, and this is my first 240.180fan wrote:checked out the tps yet and for a vac leak?
