I need to get some fun pics of my Super Blackhawk in here. It's beyond fullsize.

Carry wise i used a SIg p239 w/ the .357 SIG conversion for a few months. solid frame with NO KICK.
Very accurate, easy to shoot and conceal. Only downside for me was the capacity.
Also been trying to get my hands on a XD-S but no luck acquiring one.
I HAD the M&P SHILD gotta say the trigger felt like a POS to me :gotme
So far i'm sticking to my HK usp COMPACT. hehe Stainless slide

I liked the M&P until the first time I dry fired one and felt that cheesy plastic hinged trigger. WTF is that for? The XD-s is the single stack .45, right? I will be looking for one the next time I am back.

Glad im not alone when i say i dislike the trigger on the M&P
Yessir. XD-s is single stack.
:bash: Had my name added to the waiting list but removed it due to the M&P shield releasing first and Springfield denouncing the release date in may.

I was so happy to snap up a 3.8 compact in .40 and then they came out with the same gun in .45 right as I was leaving the states. Pissed off was I!

I like .40, it's a great cartridge, but I prefer .45 whenever possible.

I'm a big fan of XD handguns.
though never owned one.
.40 is a great cartridge no doubt 10mm son.
I myself also prefer the .45 Could just be that i see the difference in size when compared to a .40 round.

The .40 seems to want to flip the muzzle more where the.45 tends to push straight back. I've never shot the same frame in different calibers so I can't be sure how much of that is the charachter of the gun and how much the cartridge. Certainly, the .40 is moving faster so it makes sense. One is a turbo V6, the other a big NA V8. Both will put the power down, but in a little different way.

Man you guys thought the m&p trigger sucked and you had the free state one! The MA ones have some ungodly heavy trigger pull.

It's not the weight, it's that it's hinged in the middle. WTF is that s*** all about? I like a heavy trigger. :gotme

I also like heavy triggers. DA/SA is my preferred configuration.
I love Texas gun laws. What laws? :naughty:
In and out the gun shop in 5 min with no waiting periods on firearms.

I'm ok with a waiting period. I don't have one in Virginia, but if there was one it wouldn't bother me. I think there is some validity to giving the small subset of gun buyers who may be looking for a tool to arm their rage some time to cool off.

NC you are waiting upfront, either for a purchase permit or concealed permit.

Which just makes it "illegal" for dealers to sell you some handguns.... Some will still sell them to you............Or you pay a couple hundred more in a private sale for what you want. Although we still have the f*** awb :inout:
