Yea, I finally read your post. At least the expensive parts made it. S13 shells shouldn't be that hard to come by. Good luck w/the rebuild and let us know how it goes.

Are you going to bother having someone look into it to find the cause?

that looks a big longer than a 4 min fire.I carry two extinguished in my car, a small one on the pass. seat mount and a big fullsize one in the trunk.

big ones sound like a good idea:

It started in he eng bay and they weren't at the workshop at the time.The extuinguisher they had was used to put out the engine bay fire, but spread through the bulkhead; extinguisher ran out.

I've always wanted to carry one just in case but never got around to it..

yeah I've seen several videos with the smaller "kitchen" sized ones that didn't last long enough. I figure with one little one to hold the fire at bay long enough to grab my big one out of the trunk I should be ok. *crosses fingers*but I sure hope I never have to use either of them on my car or anyone else I know*knocks on wood*
