I would spend the money and buy a 1 piece. Not very long ago my brother replaced the center bearing on his N/A. It had a real slight vibration at about 45 mph, so he thought he'd change it. Bought the bearing and we installed it. Everything was clocked as it was before, and once the new bearing was installed, it vibrated like a bent drive shaft. After inspecting the u-joints, they were a bit lumpy when they were moved by hand, as if they wore in as the shaft on these cars does not go up and down due to the rear axle has a fixed carrier. No other real explanation. When I had my DS off earlier this year it felt a bit the same, but it doesn't vibrate at all.So, after all that, he takes the shaft in, gets new u-joints installed and both shafts balanced at a drive line shop. Totally undriveable now due to vibrations, so a 1 piece will go in. Even the reputable drive line shop has no idea what's wrong. Completely balanced shaft assemblies, new center bearing. Several hundred dollars of wasted money.
