New user looking for some help.

I think I am chasing my tail and decided to ask for help, maybe this has been addressed by someone else already.

I have a 2018 Altima, factory radio with WIRED CarPlay and Android Auto, Bose, Nissan Connect.

The CarPlay on my iphone connects and works perfectly when connected hard wired to USB port.

I wanted to try a wireless dongle. It is not recognized by the radio when plugged into the same port that works with my phone with a connected cord.

I can connect to the dongle bluetooth with my iphone and connect to the dongle wifi with my iphone but the radio will not recognize the dongle!

I have two different vehicles that when I plug the dongle in, the radio immediately recognizes it but this one will not.

I have tried 3 different brands all with the same results.

All the tech supports told me that if the radio reads the carplay through the usb with a cord connected that it should read the dongle when plugged into the same port but can't tell me why it won't.

Does anyone have this vehicle that has tried this and if they had any success or can offer some advise??
