I got mine from stockinteriors.com, Here is a link: http://www.stockinteriors.com/...arpet

For $199.95 you get the complete molded carpet kit. Think I got the charcoal.

I've heard that there were fitment issues behind the seats, where the seatbelts fit in the coupe. Did you have this problem? And if so, what did you do to fix it?

The one I bought from stockinteriors.com fit like utter crap. I had a huge post on it a while ago filled with pictures of the misfitment. Also, their customer service is pretty much lacking in all categories.

with a price tag of 199 for some carpet that will probably not fit from stockinteriors.com, I'd almost go around to local upholstery shops and ask them what they'd charge to recarpet the convertible...

Strip down the interior with the exception of a drivers seat for them and it shouldn't be anywhere near more than $199.

Hmm, you guys that had issues with the stockinteriors.com carpets, did you remember to lay the carpet out for 24 hours before putting it in? I heard that makes it easier to install and makes it fit better...

The carpet I got from them was only $163... Did I catch a deal or did I not order the right carpet? I just got it and haven't installed it yet is why I am asking.

I've had mine for...hmm...about a year and a half but I'm going to install it within the next few weeks. I have been waiting on a clear warm day (and getting my Dynamat installed). I've looked at mine several times and it looks to be very nice, haven't noticed any abnormalities but wasn't looking at the rear floorboard piece all that good. If it's molded to go over the little box in the floorboard for the automatic seatbelts like in the coupes and HB's you can just cut, use a heat gun and a little 3M spray adhesive to make it right but I don't think mine has that...but will find out soon enough. As for the quality, it looks to be far superior to that of the stock carpet. But...I can't give you 100% accurate info as it's been about 9 months or so since looking at my new carpet. Soon as I get to it I will post up pics of the install and my thoughts on it.

As for stockinteriors.com I only have good things to say, I ordered samples and within a day and a half I had them in hand. I called and spoke with them maybe two other times before placing my order and they answered all my questions. Once I ordered my carpet it came within two days. But as for fitment...not sure..but will let you all know. Maybe they used to be better in the CS dept. then they are now, not sure.

I was thinking the same too. $199 is a little more than I had expected to pay. for that price I can finally drop my car ok i'll keep looking. i'll even try ebay. im trying to get her all cleaned up since my son takes his driving test next week for his license. And i think this will be the car he takes to the prom. so I'm hoping I can save enough cash ( my wifes hours got cut so less money coming in) to get her all pretty for that date. and since its prom nite I may have to plastic wrap those seats just in case anything else happens that night

Would you be interested in a tan carpet? It has a small gash right at the heel point (where your heel rests when you press the gas) of the driver side footwell, but other than that it is pretty clean.

Yes I remembered to lay the carpet out. I'll repost the pics of what I had received

A measurement of how tall the carpet sat at the back bench area

A measurement of the bench height

The top layer is the old carpet. It was taller than what SI gave me.

The trans tunnel was also not molded large enough either. Because of this, the rocker area and the footwells didn't mesh up very well.

I ended up taking the car to an interior shop and they had to custom cut a carpet for me as none of their vendors could source a carpet.

Wow.... yeah that's some pretty crappy fitment. It makes me kind of worry now, since I am planning on doing my carpet as soon as the 5speed swap is completed and I got my carpet from the same place...
