carpet replacement

want to replace my carpet ,any idea who sells the molded type for 89 240sx? I do not want to have to shell out $200 or over for it or should i just try to do it my self with just regular carpet ?

It's molded carpet.. regular carpet is too tough to get around all those curves/contours and crap..

I would save up a little then buy one

(regular carpet usually has a tough not so flexible backing)

I called supeior nissan in socal and they said about $400 for new carpet. I think there were some aftermarket companies that sell molded carpet for our cars but I don't remember.

try finding someone who is parting their car out, given its a good condition carpet etc, I bought a practically new carpet, dash, and numerous interior pieces for less than 175

http://www.automotiveinterior.com gotta call and ask for a price, friend of mine got some carpet from there for his blazer is good stuff. The 240sx isn't listed on their website, but they can get the carpet for them.
