If you are coming to Philly to meet up with the the Learned'd and meet up with Greg and Becky on the way to Carlisle please add your name and if you are driving your own car or riding with someone else. My AIM is always on and it's linked on here as is my Yahoo so please feel free to contact me if you have any questions or suggestions. Just trying to get an idea of how many people and cars I'll be leading around. Will be going to Tony Luke's for tasty cheese steaks once Greg and Becky get into town and then will hit the road for Carlisle afterward.

If you have a walkie-talkie please make sure it works and bring it with you, also if you have a Nextel or a push to talk phone let me know and I will give you my 2 way number. This way we can maintain constant contact with each other and hopefully prevent a cluster f*ck from happening, if you have never been here let me know and I'll give you the 411 of what to expect with traffic, the drivers here (awful), and the general disposition of the residents and police. Don't speed, don't talk on your cell phone while driving (cell phone ban in place), and we should be fine. I look forwards to hearing from and seeing all of you next Friday.

Oh and if you can let me know where you coming from, your route, and what time to expect you I can give you a meeting point where I can come gather you up.

Ok so far I have this:

Rob Paulson in his AC
Tito in Tito''s S14
Tiger SE-R & Frapjap in Tiger SE-R's SE-R (rolling with Tita)
93Coupe and Cellardoorv in 93coupe's S14
BMoreCoupe possibly showing up later in the afternoon

This shouldn't be to bad then, if there are only 3 cars we should have no problems keeping the group together.

FYI, our flight lands at 4:32 PM. Not sure how long it will take us to get through baggage claim and the car rental line on a Friday afternoon but we'll hurry as much as we can. Brandon, send me your number (AIM, e-mail, whatever) so I can text you and let you know when we are ready to roll.

Damn it's gonna be S14palooza in this biatch, people are definately gonna stare b/c there might be all of 10 modded S14's in all the greater Killadelphia area.

For those of you who get here early we can go chill @ Elite JDM until the other's get into town. I'm sure nick would love the business and Kaleo will more than likely be there as well.

Becky my cell number is in my info on FB if that makes it easy for you.

Hey Warlord, are you bringing your GF to Carlisle? If so, I'll need her name for the list, please.

No. She is staying home, I haven't spent more than 8 hours away from her in almost 4 years. I need time away from her before I kill her and to be honest I don't want to bring her and have her ruin everyone's party.

Tita is picking me up from the airport. I'll be there with ya'll.

By the way Tita, I land in Philly at 3:39. Will need to grab my bags but it shouldn't take long.

I'd sign up for this as I'm but 20min away from the Philly airport but I work Friday mornings :( I plan on rolling up early Saturday morning. (Didn't reserve a room or anything... because I am an awesome procrastinator.. and I live too close to justify the cost IMO)

If you want you can ride with me since Rob already called Shotgun in Tita's car and the back seat of an S14 is not comfortable place to be for a 2 hour ride. Plus we can split the cost of admission since I'm riding solo and want to save my pennies for the partying and hotel room.

Hey Sky, LBC might still have a $50 "lodge" room available at the Holiday Inn Mechanicsburg. check the official thread on National events.

Also, autocrossing begins around 9am. The Fairground gates will open unofficially at 8am. (Their website says 9am)

Thanks Bubba. I'll check it out.

I don't think I'm going to autocross unless I can get new tires put on before Friday (doubtful). :(

What's the game plan for those of us arriving Friday evening, will they have admissions open so we can go ahead and pay for the weekend or will we just have to get there early Sat. morning and pay then?

My car looks like an ashy crackhead because of the paint going to s***, but I'm still parking with everyone else in the paddock because I don't care what people have to say about it and I'll feel more relaxed knowing that it's being watched like a hawk. Just have to make sure I'm stuff away in a dark corner.

Bowchikawowwow, but cerially is this all that is coming to Philly?

Sky, Greg and Becky's flight doesn't land until 4:30pm so by the time to debark, get through baggage claim and get their rental car I don't expect them to be ready to roll until at least 5pm. So if you can jet out of work a little early you can at least meet up with us to grab some grub at Tony Lukes.

Run on crappy old tires =P I did it for the first part of the season. There are no points up for grabs or trophy magnets to be had, so may as well go out and have fun. As long as your tires are not heat-cycled out, you'll be fine.

If you have 16 in wheels and your tires are totally dead, I can bring some spare R16 tires I got for free that you can have. I'm sure there is an NTB around there that you can get the tires mounted on and still have plenty of time to hit the track in the afternoon.

DUDE. Did you see the creepy pic I put in the tire forum? They're dry-rotted, the tread's great on them though. I'm quite sad about it. I dunno. I'll probably run on them anyway. Hell, the whole reason why they're chewed up a little on the front is from running at Carlisle 2 yrs ago. :gapteeth: Oh and I'm the most non-nonchalant autocrosser, so not worried about points/trophies.

Now I just need to find a hotel with a vacancy so I can be there early. Thanks for the offer :bigthumb:

Kevin (OutToWinPAC) might be stopping by when we go to Tony Lukes, and he said he'll have the LS6 powered S13.5 @ Carlisle along with his new Harley. If you guys haven't seen his car it's a real beaut.

Just so you all know, it's a 2 hour drive from Philly to Carlisle, and that's without having to deal with rush hour traffic, which we will most undoubtedly have to endure since Greg and Bex won't be arriving until 4:30. I76 is an absolute nightmare at rush hour and unfortunately that's the only way to get to Carlisle so consider yourselves warned. so even if we wait until around 6 to leave you're looking at an 8:30 arrival time into Carlisle at best. Just don't get upset by the traffic, the cops here do not fool around and the State Troopers have control of every highway in the state, and they are sneaky bastards, so don't speed (to much) and if you get pulled over relay it to somebody so they know what happened.
