I can't seem to find what helmet is needed for nicco fest it seen it once before on here and I am rushing to get car and helmet ready for this event be my first of anyone has any advice in what else to bring and what regulations on helmets would be very appreciated

Snell rating SA2005 or M2005 helmets or newer is required. Must have that Snell label attached.

If you're drifting, you're absolutely welcome to bring extra tires. You just need to plan to take the destroyed ones home with you.

Another question I have is can it still be a motocross helmet aslong as it's m2005 right

Joel- will we start accepting only Snell M2010/SA2010 helmets starting in 2016?

Ok I wen ahead and got a full face helmet 2010 I if am not mistaken just to
Be safe , ha ha and with the camping situation how is that all arranged I fig hotels are all booked an what not so I was going to kick it old school with my buddy who is also driving up there and using a tent an air mattresses just trying to build up a checklist on what to bring

I believe Carlisle now allows camping during the show, but you wont be permitted to use the track for shenanigans overnight. I don't believe all the area hotels are booked up as the Performance and Style show is not the biggest one they do there. Plus the Carlisle area has pretty most of major hotel/motel chains in every price range. If you're interested, many NICOnauts stay the Park Inn in Mechanicsburg (about 20 minutes drive from the Fairgrounds). Certainly not a requirement to stay there, but it's an option. there are also cheaper alternatives closer to the Fairgrounds, but the less expensive ones tend to fill up first.

Ok thanks I fig they would fill up I may check into it, I would like to camp tho I think that way I can be up early and ready to go , ready to check out the swap meet to hopefully there is something that I can use and hopefully I meet some fellow nicco members and find some drift spots close by my area where I live
