If you haven't registered yet. The 20% off holiday sale ends today. Just a heads up for you guys. Hope to see a lot of A/C's there this year, even though we lost like 4 coupes to hurricane Sandy :tisk:

I took advantage of the discount. Sanosuke will you have your coupe in the judged section?

^I told him he didnt have a chance of winning, he told me I was mean. He has to go up against Darryl, Bart, and the 2 or 3 GT-Rs that are there every year. Just being honest...

Yea, like he said. I'm not showing the car this year since it's my first time going there. Maybe next year when they have a better aftermarket support for the 2010+ a/c models :mike

I'm still working on trying to go. If I do, I will likely be taking the Mazda as that will be nearly 2,000 miles on whatever car I take. I don't really want to rack all that up on the Z.

I remember that Bart snagged a trophy last year. How does it work that GT-Rs are in the same class?

Its Nissan Other. I think they have a 300/350/370 combined Z class and then the only other class is well, other.

Tarek if you want to enter man, go for it. Just warning you that coils, wheels, an intake + exhaust, a lip, and a sound system probably arent going to win this competition. For Christ's sake Bart's car launches rockets (literally). Although you do have one of the better stanced Altimas Ive seen so who knows what the judges will go for.

EDIT: I stand corrected, looks like they added a separate Altima class this year? That has never been there before AFAIK. Maybe us NICO boys forced them to add it since everyone was getting punished by Rs.

124 NISSAN Z
125 NISSAN 240SX/SILVIA
126 NISSAN ALTIMA
127 NISSAN OTHER

Hello Fellow Niconuts! Looking foward to this years jam! I was not going to bother with judged this year. I want to catch more of the other events and goings on at Carlisle and play on the track some. I am also planning on taking the following monday off so that I dont have to bug out early on sunday =) No realy new mods tho the car, got a full set of EBC slotted rotors + Hawk HPS pads that have been sitting in the corner since summer, just waiting to use up the last of the life of the stock pads. Also waiting to get the front end and fenders re worked and painted again so its fresh for the show.

My son and I are bringing out R/C cars and Ramp too so that should be fun. Bring'em if you got'em guys!

Let's be Honest...Bart won that trophy because I decided to enter the elite class :yesnod ....which I sure as hell did not win. :frown: This year I hear they have a new class for altimas so at least now I wan't be competing with GTRs (really)

With all due respect Papa Bear, I actually think Bart would have beat you anyway. You already had a Carlisle trophy with the same exact mods as you did last year. Bart's was fresh and exciting to them.

Maybe but none the less.. I agree that Bart's ride was sweet as hell and he's t he only one that I've seen that is rocking the GTR front end. To be honest, I didn't like it when I first saw it but after seeing it on Bart's it was sweet as hell!

Changing up the coupe this year, inside and out. Looking forward to the shens this year and full contact connect 4! BRING IT BABY!!!!!

^I dont think so. If they want to bump their numbers by offering bags of stupid stickers to people who register under their name let them. Its actually a great marketing ploy, but it no way deserves a banner for a "club".

You'll have to email Becky. http://www.nicoclub.com/archives/nico-store.html
Hopefully if you ask she can ship it fast. I think mine took 2 weeks. I had asked if they were bringing banners to the show however they don't usually because its difficult to transport.

They beat us last year.
What they do is offer a free $10 bag of stickers to anyone that registers under their "club" name. They are not a club. They are a website that sells stickers.
So they get a bunch of kids who like stickers to sign up, then have their name plastered all over Carlisle and Facebook etc. as a result.
Like I said its actually a genius way of marketing the website. I had never heard of them until they won the first place banner last year.
