So where is the NJ or PA stop I can pick up the caravan? I was planning to leave around noon which puts me on rt. 78 at 287 junction somewhere around 12:30.

EDIT: You guys take rt 78, right? Or do you go up to rt. 80?

So you go through Staten Island then? You probably hit 78 from 287 Northbound? I would hit it at the same spot, just from 287 Southbound.

I almost got sucked into a tornado near that plaza in Brooklyn. There's a tennis club there, and there used to be a Roy Rogers, K-Mart and Modell's there.

It wasn't more than an F1, but I was a little kid in the early 90s. My Dad and I went to the Toys R Us there. I remember watching a lot of TV about tornados (thanks Discovery Channel). I remembered that green skies usually spelled trouble. As my dad I at the checkout line, paying for an erector set I begged him to buy, I said "Dad, the sky is green! I think there's going to be a tornado." He ignored me.

When we got outside, there was debris flying and hail. I lost my jacket and my hat, while we were running around trying to find our car. Behind the Modell's (I think it's the Best Buy now) there was a funnel cloud which made it's way off the water to a power plant. I don't think it sustained too much damage.

Last I remember, the Verazano was $11. And they kept jacking up the price every year. How much is it now?

^You should see if Reed and Bart are coming through your way.

LBC I'll hit you up Friday AM at some point. Depending on when Pete and I actually get on the road we might just go straight in.

If me and Nam (soxy) plan this right we mayyyy have a chance to be at the 78 / 287 junction right around 12:30. So like beasy said if there's a planned stopped around there, maybe invade trump course, then the MA caravan could probably hitch up for the last PA leg. We'll leave early to make sure where there with time to spare if it comes down to it. Also anybody have iPhones, we could use Find Friends app and make it a lot easier to track where each other are. Let us know what you guys are thinking.
