x2, except I need a seat as my long legs will not fit in a trunk like a dead body

Please, if I don't show, kick Nala in the balls one extra time for me. Thanks you.

I added the 2 day pass to the cart.
But at check-out, I can only select the USA or Canada as my billing address country.

Therefore, I can't get a pass, because they won't send one to me.

Quite discriminatory actually.. :(
PayPal me the cost and I'll hold onto your pass for you in the mean time. I'm sure I'll run into you Friday night to pass it off.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! This is either the weekend during our first rally event, or the weekend directly after. DAMDAMDAMDAMDAMDAMDAMN. I was really hoping to have the project "CRWhy? Because we can!" done and able to drive around out there. crapcrapcrap. I am really, really sad now.

Is there going to be another Nissan National convention this year? Please say yes, please say it will avoid interference with the rally america schedule (central region). Please tell me the hotel with have ice cold AC. Ian likes it cooooold. LOL

The 6 speed is quite worthless. 1st/2nd gears are so short that it ruins the car.

I don't seem to mind... 2nd is quite nice for the autocross tracks. I just barely kiss redline every now and again, although I do wish 6th was taller.

If you're doing small lots, it's not going to matter. If you're doing national style courses (like seen in the larger hubs), you're going to find that rev limiter very quickly and lose a lot of time because of such. Folks with 00's and 99's (5-speeds) slam their limiter with 5 speeds, even when running 15's.

6 speed Miata's (NC excluded) are semi-functional if they're a Mazdaspeed, running in C-Stock and there is no heavy competition around. Aside from that, it's a knife in a gun fight.

http://sololive.scca.com/2010Nationals/CSP.html

Above you'll see the results from this years nationals, not a single person brought a 6 speed NB.

Two of the lots my region uses probably would be okay with a NB 6spd, but the other is a old airstrip/runway and very fast (also gets used a lot in the season) so I see myself pegging 2nd *really* quickly. Shame because I've read they're stronger than the 5spds. Oh well.

Perhaps with a camera. It's at the Carlisle Fairgrounds, Carlisle PA during their Performance and Style show. There will soon be an official thread with all the NICOfest information in the National Meets section. For admissions info to the Performance and Style show, use this link.

Sweet, I'll be sure to do this when I get paid next weekend. I'll be sure to have money this time as I'm working now. Word of advice to anyone who is/thinking of going, bring clothes for both warm and cold weather. May is still fairly cold and rainy in the this part of the country, but has the tendency to roast you at the same time. In short don't be surprised if it's hot as Hades one day and freezing cold and rainy the next. Don't believe me ask anyone who was there last year, lots of people got sick b/c of the weather.

Hopefully I'll have something done with the S14's suspension and get the diff/trans worked out. I'll probably be ordering parts in the next month or so, then it's just a matter of getting the time/place to put them on. I'd also like to get it painted and the windows tinted before then too.

Hey NICO...

This is Patrick from Carlisle (aka Carlisle Paddy). First, thank you SOOOO much for being so enthusiastic about our event (Carlisle Performance & Style - May 14 & 15 in Carlisle, PA - home of ridiculously cheap hotel drinks!) and for already making your plans for Carlisle 2011! This year's show should be even better than ever with the NICOFest drifting and autocross being bigger and better and bunch of entertainment and activity on the other side of the show that I think you guys will enjoy too. We see our event as the Woodstock for motorsports enthusiasts and will continue to try to build that festival atmosphere in 2011.

Let me try to answer some of the questions that I see on this post. If I miss something, please feel free to reach out to me at [email protected] or (717) 243-7855 ext. 116

1. Walk-in passes for the show are $25 for the weekend or $20 for Saturday.

2. If you’re thinking about doing the non-judged registration so that you can park at the NICOFest tent, I would do it (it’s really a better deal): $40 for the entire weekend (if you register before April 11th – after that date it goes up $10). Non-judged showfield registration includes entrance for two people.

3. April 11th Gate-N-Go Deadline. I saw some of you mentioned the line for the car registration last year. If you pre-register online or over the phone before April 11th, you will not need to wait in any line because we will mail you your gate pass for your car and you can just blow through the gate when you get to the fairgrounds. This is something we introduced last year and it was hugely successful with the people who did it.

To Elwhesso: thanks…we try!

To Ozzie: If you were from New Zealand than we would certainly discriminate against you but def not against an Aussie!!! I can handle your request; just send me an email – [email protected]

Any other questions please let me know and I will try to keep up on the event post.

Since you guys did the Turtles last year, what's the theme this year so I can order my hoodie? Also Tito I'll give you some money and buy you one of those shots where the girls beat you since I couldn't contribute anything last year.

Anyone know when a good time to make the hotel reservation is?

We are not the only car club that attends the Performance and Style Show. The Learned'd Crew really made their mark for NICO last year, (not just on Nala's SUV :chuckle: ) by winning the P&S tug of war contest. .

Hey NICO! haven't been here in awhile so I decided to pop back in and this thread just made my year.
Stoked for this event!
Also, does anybody know that the track is not listed on the Carlisle events site for the show?

Does this mean that the track is bigger and better?
