Yeah, I guess we didn't think about that when staging. Oh well. But your points about a faster exit and grass free were a couple of the major reasons we went with this setup for this year.LongBeachCoupe wrote:I missed this up until now, that setup looks awesome, the only thing i dont like is that if you are in the "staging line" you cant see the track and watch whats going on, it will allow for a faster exit and a "grass free" ride!
Yeah that's true. The grandstand area will be a shot from above. You got some nice ones from last year( like the sequence I photoshopped for my sig) When photographing moving cars I love to slow the shutter speed down and pan with the car, the wheels and background blur and help show that the car is in motion. I remember showing Pete how to do that last year. BTW I have a 2nd set of wheels with some ventus v12s I plan on wearing down at Carlisle.DJ_B_Easy wrote:^ I hope Im still able to get some decent photos with the new track layout. I got quite a bit of rolling practice at Formula Drift, should make for some much better shots and sigs.
Be my teammate?LongBeachCoupe wrote:Theres always photographers on the slope of the Hill down there and there will need to be people working corners as always. If you have the chutzpah you can stand in the track to take pics if you have a spotter with you as well (from prior experiences)
