carl h i remember you siying that you ran youre maf blowthrough, i am looking to do the same and was wondering hoe you did it, i nknow with turbomustangsyou have to have so much stright section before and after the sensor etc.etc.anyway if you or anyone else has any pics of their setup with a blowthrough sensor..

i dont have any pics of the actual maf placement but its in the passenger side fenderwell. from what ive found it doesnt matter how much straight pipe there is before the maf as long as you have the screens inplace...they are there to disrupt airflow for a more accurate reading.i actualy need to redo my charge pipe (well cut a small section out, weld on some straight) because the way it is now is causing turbulance and a semi lopey idle.

cool thanks, do you know it MAF sensors are damaged by heat, i was thinking of mounting it over the cam-cover due to lack of options.

um they are damaged by excessive heat and if you are injecting alky into the charge pipes you may want to do it after the maf.blowthru setups are typicaly done on the cold side of the charge piping to bring the air temps back to somewhat near ambient...it should work but it may kill the maf with the intake temps.
