Yank out that spare tire and all the crap that's underneath there. It gave me another six inches of vertical space...and while that doesn't sound like much, it's what you do with it that counts!

good luck, in my opinion, i highly doubt you'll get that tv to fit. Trust me, its a struggle just to get a suitcase in. Plus, i try to be extra careful so i dont scratch any of the bumper or the trunk lid when I'm loading it up

Lol, I couldn't fit my dad's 23" that we bought at Best Buy. Had to fit it on the passenger seat and he sat in the back.

I had to put a fridge in my backseat to go to college. This is possible, take it out of the box. Also to put it in the back push the seat vertically back slide it in that way, because if you slide the seat forward it doesn't have enough space.

Not possible! I worked at Best Buy selling TV's for years and people always think they can fit big TV's in their cars. Their is no way to fit this in. Borrow a truck and buy a 50" instead JK

i fit my extreme dimensions rear bumper in the car yesterday lol to take it to the shop can you imagine driving around with your rear bumper sticking out your passenger window without any headlights (waiting to get my headlights back from brandon) in Manhattan i cant believe how i managed not to get stoped in the city. so on that note i think you should try to get the tv in the car

Worst comes to worse just get alot of string and prop it into the trunk and drive with your flashers on, very slow.

Baaaaaaaaaad idea....

If you take the TV out of the box, it will fit in your trunk, provided you have the rear seats folded down completley flat. I moved a desk box about the size of a 42" tv before by doing this. However, I don't think it's the best idea to do so, simply because of the fact that you are exposing the TV. I would just look to borrow someone else's car for it.

I fit my 26" inch dell flat screen in my trunk, and also fit a bunch of stuff that was enough to move to Boston. The only thing I had help on was a bed. I brought a really nice foldable computer desk too. It was a successful move :P

When I bought my 37" flat screen I tried to get it into a 06 Civic SI which has way more cargo space than my A/C and it would not work. They also told me at the store to not lay the flat screen down flat. I don't know if there was any real merit to that part or not. I ended up renting a pick up from uhaul for a couple of hours. It was like $30 bucks.
