Cargo room... a bicycle fits

I ride road bicyles a good bit, keep in mind I'm 6' 3" and ride a large size frame, with a high seat height. Today I tried puting my bike in the back of the Rogue and it fits just as it did in my RAV4 ... first I cover the cago area with some automobile carpet that is cut large enough to go up the back of the front seats and up the sides of the Rogue about 1 foot ( gotta take care of my baby) and lay the bike in on its side. With both wheels still own the bike and the front seats all the way to the rear, the rear hatch closes with a couple inches to spare.

I will be looking for a hitch for a hitch rack I use. Any ideas how long it will be before a hitch will be available?

It is a Scott CR1 Carbon fiber 58 cm frame:tire tip to tire tip max length 66"laying on it side as it has to be to fit in the Rogue with the front wheel turned 64"
