cargo cover

Discussion of Infiniti's amazing (and underrated) sport-luxury crossovers, the EX35 and EX37. For 2014, the EX series will be renamed QX50, in line with Ininfiit's new naming conventions.

There's a used Black one on eBay right now, for $175.00 US

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...ories

Dealer OEM list price = $450.47 US

This Factory Site speaks of a Tonneau Cover for $265.00... http://www.infinitiusa.com/ex/....html

Scroll down to the very bottom of the Link. This one line really bothers me >>> "Covers your cargo area from the outside". What the hell does that mean ?

It appears to me that the Roller Cover and Tonneau Cover are 2 different things, to do the same purpose. You'd have to decide which one you want.

As for the Floor Mats... http://infinitipartspeople.com...+Mats

Rubber Floor Mats, Custom Cut for $79.20 a pair.

sent an message to infinitipartspeople asking for the shipping cost to GTA and if they have cargo/tonneau cover

I have a set of black all season mats, front and back and a black cargo mat from my EX. Since I paid for them I did not want to give them away when I traded it in and they don't fit the FX. I will give them to you for half what they sell for, (USD, none of that funny colored Canadian stuff), plus shipping. If you are interested shoot me an email and I will send you pictures. Only the drivers mat has any visible wear, and that is very little as I could not drive from Dec to Mar last year because of a broken leg and I had also purchased a set of Weathertech mats after that, (which I have since sold). I don't have the cargo cover as that went with the trade. I have sold other items from my EX to forum members in the past and I am sure they would vouch for my honesty. The only variable would be shipping costs to Canada as I am not very familiar with those costs. I also have a brand new Stillen stage 2 intake I never got around to installing and some really nice aftermarket rims and tires with TPMS that I purchased 3 months before the trade and have only 500 miles on them. Eventually I will post all this stuff in the forum or eBay, just too lazy.

I just remembered that I may still have the Weathertech cargo mat. I sold the weathertech floor mats to another forum member but he did not want the cargo mat. I will have to take a closer look around my garage to be sure, but I am almost positive it's there. Same deal if I do have it, 50% of cost plus shipping.

an update on the tonneau cover.

on the infinitiusa website, msrp for this cover is 265. Called a dealer in buffalo area, they are asking for US$384 and this needs special order.

called another dealer at toronto area, they are asing for C$800 for this cover.

Infiniti Canada removed this cover from 2010 EX35 and reduced the price by C$150.

now, considering tint the glasses....

The one in my eBay link is still for sale at $175.00 or you could make an offer of something even lower than that!

You have an opportunity to buy a cheap one?

I would have jumped on this one... a long time ago.

Just got my 2010...looks like they changed the way the cover mounts from the 08-09 models...becareful which one you buy. Even the dealer was suprised when comparing the 09 to the 10.

I`m using a weathertech floor liner. The best floor liner you could ever get!

I have a black floor liner and it looks dirty all the time...maybe try the gray

one??

I called a local dealer at GTA and asked for the part number of a black cover for 2010 model, only the last digit is different from the one listed in that ebay listing above. and the dealer said the last digit is color code. the one in that ebay link is with charcoal gray. So it looks to me they have the same part number.

I will check with the dealer again. thanks.

Don't know the whole history of the EX from 08 on but the dealer was surprised when I took a test drive a couple weeks ago and started looking into the back of the 2010's on the lot and none had the cover lying there. Apparently the 09's had them right there on the floor, which then led him to look at the mounting ports which also looked different from the 09...metal vs. plastic I think he noted.

Maybe all is right with the world and the mounts are just a different material not a different measurement...I picked mine up and it was already installed. Yes...I had to order it (make it part of the deal) along with crossrails, 18" wheels & plastic bug guard thing on the front of the hood.

It's a AWD Journey with Nav & Premium pkgs.

"Hood Protector"...couldn't remember. It's just above the Moon roof deflector about halfway down the page. Had one on my Black Tribeca too...really helps with bugs/stones that like, that take the very front chip of paint off the hood.

Yeah, funny how you buy a car with an MSRP of $43k+ and it doesn't even come with this "tonneau cover". We were sorely disappointed to find out that our dealership would charge us $265 for this piece that used to come with the older models?!

Yea, what a Bummer.

I would have said... you want us to buy this Car? Throw in the Cargo Cover and you got a Deal.

What else did you get as part of the Deal ? I got Rubber Floor Mats, Wheel Locks and 3M Paint Mask, Jackets and Ball Caps.

Care to share what those part numbers are? I ordered one from the dealership and want to make sure it was the right one. Thanks in advance.

i'm actually happy i dont have the tonneau cover (although it is kinda of a drag that previous models had it free)

but to be honest, once i have my tints done, it won't matter

i do find it hilarious that 2010 models cant use previous model covers tho

849821BP0A, color code is gray.

I purchased the one on ebay, it was on a 08 EX in US, it fits my 2010 EX35 (Canadian model) nicely.

Were you able to confirm that past years fit the 2010? I am in process of purchasing and the dealer has informed me they are not available. Is a concern when you want to keep things out of site. I have found a couple of US sites that are selling at a premium.

Thanks

Unless they have some insider info from Nissan that says they're discontinued, they should be able to order it. You may want to check with another dealer. Regardless, that thing isn't cheap. It's unfortunate that there are so few online vendors for Infiniti OEM accessories and parts compared to other marques. Our dealer wanted to charge us a lot more than the MSRP listed on the Infiniti site but we convinced them to match/beat that price.

Well I ordered my new diamond graphite 2010 EX35 yesterday Journey / Nav. I asked again about the cargo cover and they are once again available but the cost is 460 CAD. I passed, figured I would look online or look in the US. Opted to get the tint instead for the time being 35/20 front rear.

I may look as good2all has to find a 08/09 on eBay or some other means to find one that will do the task. With a 20 tint on the rear and something dark to cover whatever may be in the hatch prying eyes may not see a thing.

I'm trying to find out if the cargo cover for 08 models the one that retracts will fit the 2010 model. The dealer said that the 2010 only comes with a hard cargo cover.

Can anybody confirm of the 08 cover will fit the 2010?
