Just tint the windows black back there, cheaper than that cargo cover, makes the EX look better IMHO, esp the darker colors.smallfrye1 wrote:Hi everyone,
I just recently purchased my new EX35 a few weeks ago and loving it.
However, I am in search of buying a cargo cover for it.
I live in Canada and the dealership is selling it for about $800. I think it's pretty steep so I was wondering if you guys know of any places where I can find one that is cheaper or if there is anyone selling their old one?
Thanks so much! I'm also glad to know that there is a forum for our car, been reading on some posts and it's great to hear tips etc.
Good idea...ANBYOND wrote:Just tint the windows black back there, cheaper than that cargo cover, makes the EX look better IMHO, esp the darker colors.
I am interested too.Widman wrote:I have a tonneau cover that I would be willing to sell. It has never been used. What would you be willing to pay for it?
Yep, my 2010 EX came with tinted windows from the factory. I see others EX who do not have tinted rear windows, however (perhaps US models?)EXceptional wrote:Good idea...ANBYOND wrote:Just tint the windows black back there, cheaper than that cargo cover, makes the EX look better IMHO, esp the darker colors.
Yes, USA EX35' do not come with the dark window tinting from the factory. Have to have it done. Which is strange, being as though cheaper vehicles like the Honda CRV and Toyota RAV4 have the std darker tint on the rear windows on their mid level models.CDNicecube wrote:Yep, my 2010 EX came with tinted windows from the factory. IMO, tinted windows look sharp; they give a certain 'cachet' to the car (not to mention some privacy). And bonus, I do not need to deal with removing and or storing somewhere in the car the tonneau cover every time I need more space for bulkier items, such as every weekend for me - when I need to transport hockey bags from one arena to the other!

I am asking $180 and am located just north of San Francisco. I guess I could ship it UPS if you were interested.flashzoom wrote:I am interested too.Widman wrote:I have a tonneau cover that I would be willing to sell. It has never been used. What would you be willing to pay for it?

Agreed, the tinted windows in the back, esp on the Black EX make it look much better IMHO... Agreed, I don't bother with those tonneau covers, take up more space, then have to remove them if a bigger item is to be loaded etc.
$275 is pretty expensive! i had my entire car tinted (including the back side windows and the windshield...not tinted anymore) for only $175.timick1 wrote:I was quoted $275 to have my windows tinted. I guess it's more expensive around here since there's only 1 or 2 professional tint places nearby.
I am thinking about 15% or 20% tint for the back and rear side windows. 50% on the front sides.
This will be on a white EX35.
I got my done at Tint Zone in Rowland Heights. small place, run by 2 asian guys. but they are super busy. they are booked all the time.2infiniti's wrote:I an in Irvine ca. where did you get your tint work done? I also want to get my G37X done at the same time. Thanks in advance
