hey everyone, i'm looking for the carpet that covers the cargo area, it is actually attached as one piece to the carpeting that lines the back of the rear seats. i had a HUGE nasty spill in the cargo area and couldn't get the smell out even with professional detailing. i ended up cutting that piece out (the cargo area piece) due to major frustration. i still have the back of the seats carpeted and have recently bought a husky cargo liner to cover it up for now. i went to the dealer and that piece costs $400!! does anyone know where i can get a replacement besides going to a junkyard, i don't have the time to put in a search like that. my interior is black btw. please help me out, thanks!

i say just keep the husky. in my pathfinder i spilt transmission fluid all over in the cargo area. i plan on ripping out the carpet, the insulation below, and putting dynamat or some alternative for the sound, the permantly putting that husky liner on there.

You could take your old carpet to a carpet shop, where they sell carpet by the roll nd fit it, and ask them to make a new one using your old one as a template, then just unglue and reglue the thick black foam on the back. It should work out a lot cheaper than a new one, or get them to do just the part that goes on the floor and not the part that goes up the back of the seats.

Did you ever find carpet for the rear area? I am running into the same problem. I spilled catfish bait in my rear cargo area and I cant find rear carpet cheaper than 450. I tried bleach, vinegar, baking soda etc. My carpet is currently on my porch and not going back in b/c of the smell. I know you posted on this topic a long time ago but am just curious as to your solution. Thanks.

No I gave up my search a while ago to no avail. That is, until I have $300 laying around that I don't mind shelling out for the cargo area carpet from the dealership. The husky liner that I bought is still sitting in my trunk.
