Ha, I'm currently in college, double majoring in English and Psychology. I'll be a Junior as soon as this semester hurries up and ends. Haven't decided if I want to teach middle/high school or college yet. Obviously if I decide the latter I'll be in school a bit longer, for the PhD.

Car paid for by my mom, all other expenses by school (excess scholarship funds) and whenever I get too low in cash I find a job for a couple months then quit, lol. I still live at home so that helps, a lot.

Mostly IT and other tech types here, along with the lucky student group, and a few professions like doctors, architects, etc... makes me wonder what a railroad worker is doing in your midst. I guess every group has an infiltrator!

I have my Bachelors in Social Work, but unfortunately since I picked one of the lowest paid professions there are. I still work at Hollywood Tans, where I have worked for about 9 years & make way more $ than any job I was able to find in the Social Work Field (my life sucks lol)

but...

I just got accepted into an accelerated 1 yr Masters Program for Social Work, (yay! ) so by May 2010, I'll have my MSW & will do Oncology Social Work. Which is working with Cancer patients & their families to help them navigate through the confusing world that is "Cancer".

In today's economy, my company views the tiniest infraction of unclear rules as a means to get rid of its employees! Thankfully, I've been there long enough to know, and follow, the unclear rules 100% (try to figure that out!), but I've seen new guys (good at their jobs) get fired for minor infractions... today's reality sucks!

No joke, it was a lot easier in high school though... In high school I would recycle cans from the quad everyday after school and would turn them in on my way home. I'd make about $20 a day for about 1hr worth of picking through trash cans. Then I had a recycling bin in my photography class so every friday I'd tear that open and grab another $20 for like 5minutes of work. So a little addition here and there and I was at roughly $120 a week for hardly any work.

Since I started college recycling is a lot harder (it varies so much at such a low rate I can't even give you figures). I'm still living at home but am almost forced to move out come summer when my dad is moving in with his GF so I need a steady payroll pronto

I work for APC/MGE. I'm a field service engineer for the CPCS (Critical Power and Cooling Services) cooling division. For all you IT and Network Admin people, our equipment keeps your servers and data centers nice and cool. If it breaks, I'm the guy tech support sends to fix it. Central and South Texas is my region. That's why I've put over 22,000 miles on the coupe since Oct. 08.
