It has been over 15 years since I have been to a Comic/Card store and I just got back from one because I needed a box big enough to hold my Cards Against Humanity set (with the two expansions).

I really love this game, and I have brought it up to several people and had mixed responses...
I wanted to hear what the guys at NiCo had to say!

It is an adult version of Apples to Apples, if you have ever played that.

The manufacturer only prints them a few times a year, and as a result some times they sell on ebay/amazon for a significant premium. Standard price is $25 for the set, with the expansion packs at $10.

Sounds boring as hell. Will we make prank phone calls and practice kissing after? :inoutgay:

I've heard that drinking and/or drugs can make anything fun. Just what I've heard.... don't know if it's true or not.

It literally is freakin Apples to Apples, as far as it being for adults I have played some very adult themed games of Apples to Apples

First played it 6-7 months ago and immediately loved it. Most people don't realize how hilarious it is until they actually play it.

It reminds me of the countless afternoons as a kid that I spent laughing while playing mad libs. I wish i had it last night when I was at a friends, I'm just gonna keep it in the car from now on.

That's a good idea. I really need to get around to ordering the expansion packs for my set.

I went to a trading card store and bought a 800 card box to hold them all.. It made me sad to see how I spent so much time and money as a kid on cards and how bad the stores are if you can find them. They were so huge back then (early 90s) now they can't even stay in business

I think it looks fun. I'm about to print out the PDF then cut them out with one of those paper cutting guillotines and bring it to thirsty Thursday. :chuckle:

I'd heard of it before but was hesitant to purchase it. After seeing this though, I may very well reconsider...

Most people I know started with their own "home made" set.

It's fun, if you can let yourself laugh at funny things without worrying if their offensive.

It comes with some blank ones, its hard to think of something really funny to put on them that isnt covered already in the set!

There was a holiday expansion they did in 2012... They had it for free, with a optional donation... they show the statistics on their site, most people paid $4.xx or something like that for it... On ebay they are selling for like $50 lol...

I kinda wish they were printed on plastic cards so they didnt get ruined if a drink is spilled, but they are great! I am so glad I was able to get someone to pick em up!

I just read through a few because I didnt wanna spoil the surprise of reading them all. I tried to play last saturday but we never did. I think plastic cards would be way too thick for how ever many cards it is. Besides, whoever party fouls gets to buy a new set. Thanks for the recommendation. Instant classic for sure.
