I have to admit the steering wheel is different, flashy but different.

i think it looks like crap honestly its a glowing steering wheel cover and thats coming from me the one thats obsessed with blue led, even i wouldn't get it and i changed every single led light to blue in the car. just a bit to ricey

I don't think it is giving off any light.... I think its just the camera flash.... maybe

go to walmart and look at the steering wheel wraps. find one with flashy blue and then flash your camera at it at night. WAA-LAA! There's nothing lit up about it besides the reflection to intense light.

My speedometer red indicator is off ... it's pointing to about 10 KM/h when stopped

Do you foresee any problems with removing it and putting it back in ?

Haven't removed it yet. It's just not pointing to 0, just slightly on top of it. Found same issue on my girls car.

I'd like to know if I can damage anything by removing needle and putting it back.

yes you can damage the needle head very easily when removing them.

If you look at the specs on the left side, he lists top speed at 185 and HP at 295, yet the only performance mod he lists is "Nismo Perf. Chip"
