Carchip: anyone used it? Good/Bad? I plan to use in my suddenly failing Maxima.

I faced twice the issue of my car suddenly losing power in last month.

(I posted details here in this topic: "1999 Maxima suddenly stops while driving - dealer could not find any issue")

And dealer has no idea after checking it for about a week.

Now, I am driving it again without any issue.

So, I ordered a Carchip from amazon.com. It is like a black box (used in airplane) for car.

Did anyone use it - any good or bad? Would it hurt my car?

I've never used one but it sounds like a very useful little device. Let us know how you like it.
