carburetor electrical removal?

I have a stock hitachi, and I wanted to see if anyone has removed the wiring from one of these things, the same way we delete the vacuum lines. I just want a simplified system...

it won't run... at least as far as i know

the only way to rid of the wires is to get the weber

All wires except the one for the idle jet can be removed but fuel consumption would be an issue as well as cold starting. Some power loss should also be expected.
