I read a post that said the best bang for the buck on a ka24e arecarbureators. I don't know much about this so i was hoping youcan elighten me on the subject...how streetable are they? how much would low-end torque suffer from the conversion? what other mods would i need to do to accomodate them? any info would be appreciated...thanks

To my knowledge, they dont make the carb conversion anymore. Basically it was for racing. Didnt have the ECU to get tempermental with.

Here's the info on a carb conversion.

You'd have to be just about nuts to do it though.

I spoke with Rebello Racing recently about the carbs. they said the carb conversion focuses on high-end performance. they said their streetability is decent but burns too crude to pass CA smog without some delicate tuning...I'll get some more details next time I go and I'll pass it on to you guys. thanks for the info.

oh yeah,i think it's possible to do DOHC carb conversions also...
