a few people i know have changed from their metal clutch type lsd's like the cusco rs to the carbonetics bc its doesn't make much noise. other than that, the performance on the track i hear is better also from how the clutch activates and engages is better than other metal lsd's

Carbonetic is one of the best LSD's you can buy. The company used to be called ATS. Crazy strong. I think there Deftforce LSD has the Largest/Strongest Clutch Plates available.

if you're thinking about getting a cusco rs thats already $1050ish why not spend a hundred bucks more for what i think is the best lsd available out there. If you're thinking about spending 800 for a nismo or kaaz, then that 300-400 difference ,depending on where you get the carbonetics lsd from, is up to you. I personally think those 800 lsds make a lot of noise and don't hold up as well to the carbonetics. but yea i think the carbonetics is totally worth it if you're already willing to spend 800+ for a lsd already. save up a few hundred more and get the carbonetics one, i'm sure you won't regret it.
