Well last competition out of the way for me in the UK yesterday & a huge disappointment
We have changed the suspension of the car since the last competition again & to be honest almost to well We want to keep the IRS & NOT go live suspension at the back to keep the car as a PROPER skyline
Problem is though that the car is now gripping really really well & on 2 launches @ 8500 rpm the car broke both sets of drive shafts clean off.
Need a set of replacement drive shafts that can cope with the power & finding a set for a GTST is hard work as HKS etc make them for the GTR.Must be a company in the States who make "monster strength replacement driveshafts" ?
Can someone point me in the right direction please? Also want to put a carbon propshaft on the car but again will need to be able to cope with the power.
Good news is that the NOS is on & looking fantastic - car now 911 bhp at the hubs & 680 lbs/torque Not bad from the "little RB25"
Here's a video of the winner of the event - really nice guy called Tim Webster in his Duke Racing 33 GTR - 8.8 sec @ 160 MPH +http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KWXY5pnBtKo
