ok well me and a friend are looking to see what do people want to be carbon fiber on their car? what are some interior pieces you think you may want in carbon fiber?

we may move on to bigger pieces if we get enough people interested.

we are in the process of doing a center console piece that surrounds the radio and shifter.

thanks! you can e-mail me at [email protected] if you have any questions

this is just testing the waters right now.

Full carbon fiber? or just overlayed?

I'd buy the radio and shifter surround, full center console, glove box, steering wheel shroud, ashtray, door pieces as long as they were full carbon fiber and not just layed and not wicked expensive.Heres a link to what alot of people would probably want but the guy never checks his email.http://alliedcomposites.com/ge....htmlLet me know if you do it and how it looks, I have cabon fiber coverson my RB26DETT and this stuff could go great with it.

Been there tryed that, sorry but I tryed that and it dosent work out, you have to make a mold for everything, do you even know how???????????? its not easy at all, do you have any experience in fiber glass or resins??????? The best way to go is to overlay everything, the biggest problem is the cost of reall good quality carbon fiber. + vaccuum table , materials ,fiber glass , resin etc, etc, EXPERIENCE xperience experience cause things dont just come out perfect the first time, trust me I know. For a 3 ft by 3ft piece of carbon fiber you are gonna pay around $100 SO labour and materials plus all the hassle is not very cost effective. Whos gonna pay $200 plus for a convertible top windshield top cover piece?? You would be out of busines before you started. Sorry i know you prolly think what a douche bag, but try it and you will see.

Ohh and about alliedcomposites.com, they are here in town and I even went to see the place numerous times and i called and called but no answer, I went to his bussiness where the guy makes his stuff and his mom answered the door and said he is out of town, bla bla bla, so he is definately not making it big in this industry, he didnt even call me back after leaving him a bunch of messages. I think he is no longer in bussiness.

Anyways I dont want to ruin your idea or spoil your parade, so I wish you all the best and i hope you make it, so everyone has a place to buy their carbon fiber produts from. Good Luck

Man I'd pay for B Pillars, Radio Surround, Arm Rest, and Ash Tray! It's next to impossible to find carbon wrapped 240 goodness on the web! If you're still doing this hit me up.

Very, very difficult for amateurs. I have seen several people try, but I don't think any of them got very far.
