Yeah, importfan actually has an S13 CF hatch out for the umm... hatch. It's pretty spiffy, I may just get one if I wasn't buying myself an RB20 and if I could find someone to make a lexan window for it.

It's either 20.0 or 2.00, I'm not too sure. So either 20 or 2 lbs. Hatches aren't to light, so either isn't bad. I don't think I'd want to drop stock glass back in it and if I did the rear hatch window in lexan, I'd have to do it all, there go my 180SX quarter windows.

the trunk isn't really all that structural.maybe in a hatchback, but about every rear end collision i see the trunk is either popped or buckled.some people(like me)need to replace the trunk anyway.so why drop 200 at the bone yard if you can save some weight for a little more money.

Well Have you considered fiberglass? I don't know if I'd be cheaper...but I guess most bodyshops could pull it off. Also, 240s are usually nose heavy...so I'm guessing weight in the back could help you achieve an easier 50/50 weight distribution.

Holy old *** thread batman! Yeah I have seen the one from Import Fan for the fastbacks. Im putting this off since the money I was gonna use went for a new turbo for my CA.
