I have never seen it, but that doesn't mean it doesn't exist...there are nice polished aluminum ones from lsauto i believe, adn they make it look real good.

Ok well in the July of 98 Turbo MAG, Kenji Sumino(Team Precision Racing) has the 240SPL. Among the other impressive items on the car there is a carbon fiber insert on the valve cover(KA). Does anyone know where it came from?

not to burst your bubble, but will the carbon fiber take it? It's not a material know for it's excellent heat resistance if you know what I mean....

But if you are really interested, I don't see why you couldn't make it w/under 30$

If interested, I can post some pages that could help you how...

i'd buy it for the twincam if it were less than 30 bucks but $100.??? come on its not that important, it will probably just turn into more rice material later...but for round 30 ok!

As far as the heat goes it should be ok. They have the same thing on a turbo KA motor in the July 98 issue of turbo, no ill effects noted.

Yes if you could please post up info or links to be able to do this myself it would be greatly appreciated.
