Will a carbon fiber strut perform the same as a steel or aluminum (whatever they are usually made of)? The price difference is pretty steep as in carbon fiber = cheap, so im wondering if it would be a good buy, thanks

I didn't feel any differences when I had it on my Eclipse GST. I don't have any on my 240 yet. In my opinion, it doesn't make any differences except looks.

STB isnt a huge differance as is...I could never pay as much as they want for carbon fiber ones for that little of a gain.

Metal ones are still pretty light, the carbon fiber ones probaly save a few pounds but there isnt really that much weight to loose on that part in the first place. I have a greddy front bar and couldn't justify its price if i hadn't gotten it as a gift.
