Carbon Fiber REpainting

I know you can put one or two coats of paint on CF so you can see the weave but still match the body, but what about when a situation presents itself and you have to get it repainted? If you grind down the paint, won't you eventually get to the weave? Is there a correct way to repaint CF? This is just a thought that popped into my head because I'm bored. Btw, if it's not already obvious, I have no experiece in either dealing with CF or auto painting or body work for that matter. I'll have to get schooled sometime.

ask a paintshop. Best thing to do.

well first of all when you repaint, you dont "grind" all the existing paint off. You lightly sand it, so as long as you are careful it should be no problem.

how about that air craft remover stuff? would that work? i think itll eat up the cf's clear coat.
