Is anyone making or talking about making Carbon Fiber parts either for the interior or exterior anything?

I would hope to see our first US spec carbon pieces sometime next year given the versa popularity, takes them awhile to get it to us given the cost to manufacture a new product and making sure they have enough people willing to pony up the dough for them after there made.. China has some for the Tiida but I would wait for the US spec ones to guarantee a perfect fit.

Maybe if enough members on here get together for a group buy and supply a car to prototype one you could get some made parts a little sooner.. check with the mods they may have a vendor willing to help get things rolling if you can get enough serious members to buy.

The official stance of the admin staff is that all group buys must be arranged either by the vendor or a member, the admins/moderators do not get involved at all.

I will contact them and a few others that I know of and ask them if they have anything in the works.I will also contact FiberImiges as they did a reproduction hood for my Ur QuattroWe had them make molds and 20 hoods at about $700 range?? I know that is alot of money but they have made more Versas in a month then the 10 years they made the Ur Quattro so I am sure that if a company knows there alot of cars out there it might change the price alot??

Yah I can get one made too but its going to cost like $500-$1000. I rather drive around with no hood at all.

ya, most of the time, with sema so close, it best to wait till after this month to hear of anything good that will show up. cause everyoen is keeping a tight lip around the matter. hmm i hope there are some stuff, i will be at sema again checking out the new toys

I got Seibon the hood and rear hatch for them to use as the mock up but when the shipped them to the factory the rear hatch got damaged so I'm in the process of getting them another one so the rear hatch will be later down the road.

there are plenty of ways to sneak in. all you need is a badge. which doesnt have to be you. and sometime the security is very lax. >_< haha. but i am going in either throught my shop, or under my friend's parents' rim company.
