Instead of painting my bumper I decided to go bra :)

Has anyone used those?

Do they look too ricey ?

Painting the bumper would be cheaper if you shop around.

Bras are generally not a great idea as they trap dust which can scratch your paint, and eventually wear right through to the primer/metal.

Looks cleaner without, IMO.

Azhitman,

I also think it is cleaner without a bra (what a universal thought :) )

My bumper was pristine 3 years ago. I probably averaged 2-3 dings a month living in Bay Area (all of it is parking).

I would hate to see my car with fresh paint on the bumper to get dinged. I'd actualy kill for that, so my bra decision is purely for the health of others :)

If I ever get to painting something on this car, it will be the whole car. But for now - bra it is. I'll post pics once I install it.

LOL - I hadn't considered the parking issue in the Bay Area - Good point.

Go for it, then!
