Carbon Fiber Interior Interest?

Carbon Fiber has been the topic in the forums for a LONG time so I thought I'd bring this up. I have just emailed a company in Australia that makes Carbon Fiber Silvia parts. All of the stuff is RHD parts but I asked if they would be interested in producing LHD parts. So they asked me to get some numbers so they can look at the interest numbers.

I asked mainly about the Radio surround which they make as a factory replacement, meaning it pops right into the area with the same clips and all, I also asked about the center console, and listed some other options.

Most of this was based on S13 but they do make S14 parts as well but I think the S14 parts aren't RHD/LHD specific, please correct me if I am wrong.

So who would be interested in these and what specificly would you be interested in?

I think after 5 years of a carbon fiber vinyl wrapped radio trim, it's time for the real thing.

Just to give you guys an idea of prices that I've ssen from their RHD stuff, their RHD carbon fiber radio surround is $130 and a factory new replacement from nissan is like $110 so for $20 extra you get full real carbon fiber not an overlay and it is UV treated and all that jazz.

So lets see those numbers so when can make this happen.

i would definitely be interested in a group buy for the radio surround and center console, and maybe the glove box but not sure. About to get my interior reupholstered and this would be a great addition

btw check out this website http://jskracing.com/product.asp?catid=489&pp=185 I had them on my favorites for a while but I noticed they were a china manufacturer, so I would be pretty hesitant to order from them(giving them money, fitment and quality). Also you should ask the company in australia if they would be interested in producing door sills in cf, maybe adding the word nissan or 240sx on the sills... I would definitely be interested in these

The company that I am talking to already does make carbon fiber door sills. You can get them on ebay. Those are universal, they are not LHD or RHD, they are for both.

Do these come with the clips used for to hold it in place on the dash? The back of the one shown above looks kinda bare.

I see the Sniper Racing RHD ones on eBay all the time and I am jealous. LHD ones do pop up once in a while - one just last week sold for around $90+ shipping from a US company I have seen sell them before.

And just to be totally clear - these are not 100% CF - they are OEM parts with CF overlay, clear sealer and a UV coating.

If they make them, we will buy!
