OK, I recently got a 2005 G35 Sedan with the 6-speed manual. Great car, fun to drive. I noticed that the air intake pipe looks like carbon fiber. Since I know this stuff is expensive, was wondering if this is an aftermarket upgrade (for what benefit, not sure). Can anyone shed any light on this?Thanks.

Pics? We can tell you what you got with pictures. Might just be a Carbon fiber z-tube. If so it helps with sound and gives a few hp.
