well i figure peeling clear coat is as good an excuse as any for getting a new hood. seen em for $260 i just cant bring myself to drop $150 on shipping. so how do i justify another expensive item i dont need?

how much weight do you drop with one of those anyway?

Doesn't any place local sell them? $150 for shipping is just too much for something that is $260. Maybe for something a couple thousand, but not for a hood. You paying literally 150% the price. Furthermore, their probably taking in half that shipping themselves. Retailers usually pay less to ship than regular people. Shipping for a hood probably only cost them $70 or so. Don't let them rip you off .

whaaa? S14 hoods must weigh at least like 30 pounds. With a CF hood I'd estimate you shed at least 20 pounds.

Id say buy from a local shop if you have one or you could try the parts and equipment board here and see how much they would charge you for shipping. Heres one for an s13 http://www.nicoclub.com/zerothread?id=69880
