carbon fiber hood

help me guys, i just got a carbon fiber hood and it wasnt a really good fit. i returned it. i want to get another one. im looking at the oem look. ( i think it is the best ) do u guys know n-e places that sale them for a good price??? thanks =D

a few friends got c-wings carbon hoods and they fit without a hitch. what brand was yours and what issues did you have with it?

EBAY had VIS oem hoods for about 500 shipped. VIS is respectable so its probably going to fit right.

mine was a vis from ebay. ive talked with a lot of speed shops from my area. they've told me that a lot of vis products are not that great.

My vis hood fit fine. It is just a hair lower along the edge of the fender, but is not noticable.

FIBER IMAGES!!!! Although they can be pretty steep in price... if you want, I have a friend who can hook you up for a 300 dollar CF hood, and same quality as Fiber Images.

thanks for the offer of the vis invader hood, but i think 600 is a bit much. on ebay the go for like 5 bills. im just looking for the oem fitting. i dont really like the invader hood that much cause too many civics around my area have them. so no thanks though. but the 300 doller deal. get back to me on that bro. thanks

lol, I sold it a long time ago man, i was just saying what got mine for, not posting it for sale. The invader takes a certain kind of car to pull it off, I'll prolly go oem on my sil80.

my friend has a VIS on his car, and if you leave it outside for long peroids of time, the VIS will actually crack and wither away..sad for VIS
