Carbon fiber hood?

I was just lookin around and thinkin it would be nice for my car to drop some of her fat . So in a few days i goin to go thur and see what can be taken out and wonderin if i get a CFH do you have to have hood pins?? I really dont want those on my car but would love how light it is. so my Q is. Does anyone make a CFH that dont need hood pins and would just look OEM?

you dont need hood pins if you properly mount the latch. it says, we highly reccomend, but than again a mcdonalds cofee cup tells you not to drink it when its hot. if you mount up the latch correctly and to oem standards, you will be ok.

1.unbolt it from stock hood. 2.carefully drill and mount to super ultra flah racing hood. 3. close hood.

DOES ANYONE MAKE A COWLED HOOD INSTEAD OF VENTED? I HAVE A ISSUE WITH HOOD SKELETON CLEARANCE (RB20DET W/ SKYLINE X-MEMBER) AND I NEED A HOOD THAT WILL CLEAR THE RAISED HEIGHT.

You didnt have to be a smart a** about it i thought thay came with that pice you just had to make it stronger but thanx now i can get one to save me some waight
