Long story short, I designed the hood, Carbon Creations is making the manufacturer.

I washed my car today and took it out for a quick photo shoot , (make sure you click on the images)

i like the concept, but if it's going to look vented just make it a functional vented hood. other than that i like it a lot

Looks good. We know it's vented, are the vents functional or just for looks?

functional, by that I mean they just help to get the heat out.

don't hate man, i thought about putting vents in the fenders - a lot of heat under the hood on my 95. it might look like rice but as long as it's functional i don't think it is.

, as far as I know, venting the heat out is the only function of rear facing vents , I if I were to put a scoop in the middle of the hood then yes call it rice.

Besides, this type of hood is perfect for turbo set ups, the only problem is that as far as I know there is only one known turbo 6thgen maxima; and it ain't me

if you wanna be the 2nd boosted 6th gen go with a rear mounted blower - easier setup.

ebay t3/to4 blower, most parts from a junkyard for a few bucks and the expensive which is going to be safc2, wideband o2 and bigger injectors - but the expensive stuff after i get some more $$ and push it from about 8 to 12psi. should be alright completely stock with 8psi - you could get away with more than that stock.
