What is a good place to get a carbon fiber hood that is of decent quality, but isn't too expensive?

Try Ebay and look for a VIS Racing one I think I payed 500 give or take shipped. Shipping is the worst part like 100-150 or so sucks.

Not even.

How about a top-quality Seibon for less than that?

Contact Dan (240sx2nr95) and ask him for details... Think he's S14sx2nr on AIM.

I second Seibon. All of my research tells me this is the best rated fit out there.

I hope so, I'm looking for a CF hood now to replace my jacked up one from my butt kiss'n a few weeks back. My buddy with a supposedly "GRADE A" hood didn't fit well at all. Now I'm scratch'n my head on which brand to buy that would fit like OEM, if I'm only dreaming that CF would fit like OEM, then I'm just gonna head over to the dealer.

Well if Greg (azhitman) and I both suggested it, it is probably good. Call a seibon distributor and see if they can give you the name and phone number of one of their customers that ordered one. Give him a call and find out from the horse's mouth. Let us all know what you end up doing.

People hype up VIS carbon fiber hoods. but from my experience they are the heaviest of them all. i do not recomend them. i would go with another brand, but ask around and see if people who allready have that product like it. but its all up to you.
