Yeah they are worth it, if you want to make your car look like a cheaply riced civic, while making it heavier and wasting money !

Lol..

I knew a guy who completely carbon fibered his entire dash and door panels by hand in his Galant. It is a lot like working with fiber glass. You have to lay the fabric over whatever you want to make carbon... Then use some different agents to harden it and such. Just brush them on. Sand and clearcoat.. Took him forever but it turned out awesome. After he finished it he went back and removed the original materials of the dash.. it weighed nothing after that.

I've seen some really nice molded carbon fiber interior pieces for the S14 on ebay, but they're JDM manufactured, so the door pieces won't fit properly without some modification (seeing as how the driver and passenger door controls are switched) Best bet is to buy a really nice carbon fiber overlay kit. I wouldn't trust any kit that doesn't cost at least $150.

there are some companies that do this, expect between $750-1100 to have your dash covered by a reputable shop.

you could probably by enough fiberglass, carbon fiber and resin with $300 to mess up a buttload of times and finally get it right once...but that would take alot of time.

hmmm, thats not a bad idea to buy the stuff and try and learn to do it your self......but like i said before i really don't care that much and am not willing to invest that amount of time into making my dash a little bit prettier

Looking at the gallery on his website, I'm assuming they are able to make replacement parts in cf, not just a trim kit. Their work looks pretty good. I'm just wondering what the pricing breakdown is.

Insomuch as I am aware, NOPI makes some decent carbon dash kits.

Some dude from cardomain recommended one ebay seller too, I'll have to check my yahoo mail, it was awhile ago.
